Mathematics Textbook Adoption for the 2014/2015 School Year

Dear Parents,

As part of our continuing implementation of the Arizona's College and Career Ready Standards (formerly known as Common Core) we would like to ensure you that your children are provided the most current , research based learning materials available.  Arizona's College and Career Ready Standards  is essentially a National curriculum that most of the United States will be using for the foreseeable future.

Currently we are in the process of choosing a math program that will help us best deliver these standards to our students.  The two front runners are Pearson’s  Envisions Mathematics Program and Houghton Mifflin’s “Go Math”.  By the March Governing Board meeting we intend to have selected a program and have it on display for public review in the District Office Board Room at 725 N. Carpenter.  Both of these companies will be presenting their respective programs to our teaching staff this November.

Mr. Blauser
