National Junior Honor Society

The Mountain Vista Chapter of National Junior Honor Society is open to students in the seventh and eighth grades.  Students are invited to join based on a GPA of 85% or better, citizenship, honor roll, leadership, and community service activities. 

This year the NJHS members have raised money for the community food bank, served at a benefit dinner, and participated in the recycling program at Mt. Vista.

In June of 2010, students and parents will be traveling along with the NJHS sponsor, Nannette Soulé, to Washington DC.  They are looking forward to an exciting, fun-filled and educational week in our nation’s capital.
