Catherine Damron

Years of service:  10 years

This is my tenth year as an employee of the Oracle School District.  Before I was an employee, I volunteered for approximately 18 years, when my oldest daughter started kindergarten. I have, for the past 6 or 7 years, worked with the second graders; working one on one or with groups of children.

My duties are in the cafeteria, morning breakfast and lunch time, and lunch recess. I run a program called "Cougar Manners" for lunch-time manners, with the help of other parapros and cafeteria workers and I also enjoy being in charge of the "Student of the Month" board in the cafeteria. I am also lucky enough to put together an eight grade slide show, that is shown after promotion.

I am very fortunate to work with a wonderful staff here at Mountain Vista.
